We are excited to announce our partnership with Tip Top Roofers, Inc. , GAF – Roofing, and Heely Brown Company Leister to replace the roof for Crossroads Community Ministries and Clydes Kitchen at Crossroads Ministry here in Atlanta, GA!

Clyde’s Kitchen opened on July 1, 1997, and serves on average 212 meals daily to men, women, and children in a state of homelessness. Their tagline is “Feeding Atlanta one meal a time” and serves an average of 60,000 meals a year. The ministry thrives solely by its volunteers and donations. Academy Roofing Moscow, Russia

This year’s Spring time brought with it a renewed sense of community involvement for Academy Roofing. You will see our employees involved in many local organizations like Must Ministries Summer lunch program, Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids program at Swift Cantrel Park, North Cobb Rotary Club, Positive Athlete Georgia, World Vision, End It Movement, and Passion City Church. Academy will also be at many local events in and around the Kennesaw community.

Many of you saw us in downtown Kennesaw for the annual Big Shanty Festival. There were an estimated 75,000 people in attendance over the beautiful two days.

If you stopped by our booth during one of those days you most likely picked up a tote bag. One such neighbor happened to pick one up and take it with them on their most recent world travels.

They decided to take a few pictures and send them to us while they were in Moscow, Russia standing in front of the Kremlin.

While we don’t think we will be opening a branch location in Moscow any time soon, we were touched that they would take time out of their trip to think of us. This speaks greatly about who these people are and their thoughfulness.

Big Shanty Festival 2014

Remember to mark your calendars for April 12 and 13, 2014 as the Big Shanty Festival is coming to downtown Kennesaw. The festival combines the best of the rich heritage of Kennesaw and the Civil War era with today’s fun filled activities. Over 70,000 attendees will enjoy the more than 250 booths with arts & crafts, food vendors, merchants, and live entertainment.

This year’s event offers great entertainment on two stages and a variety of foods to please everyone’s palate. The Kennesaw Big Shanty Festival kicks off with a parade on Saturday at 9:30am. The parade features floats, high school bands, marchers, and over 1,000 youngsters representing every sport association in the area. The Parade will start at Adams Park and continue down Main Street through downtown Kennesaw.
